It's Time to Listen to the Planet
Inspired by the fact that the National Geographic Summit 2019 was at Casa da Música, my team created a campaign that invited the public to "listen to the planet".
With the help of foley artists, we've reproduced sounds of nature that were in fact, plastic sounds. For example, we've made the sound of sea waves using supermarket plastic bags.
The aim was to alert the public to a scary truth: the fact that our rivers and oceans are increasingly "made of plastic".
